AthloPro — Privacy Policy

1. Who is the Data Controller?

2. What data we process

Account: email/username, password (hashed: Argon2id), avatar.
Age gate: 15+ flag (boolean) and country (e.g., GR). We do store full date of birth.
Profile (optional): gender, city/area (no precise GPS by default).
User-Generated Content (UGC): photos/videos, captions, comments, tags.
Usage/device metadata: IP, user-agent, timestamps, app version (for security/abuse/debugging).
Analytics (consent-based only): aggregated events (GA4 with Consent Mode).

3. Purposes and legal bases

Service provision & account: create/manage profile, publish UGC, social features — contract (art. 6(1)(b)).
Security & abuse prevention: anti-spam/abuse checks, logs — legitimate interests (art. 6(1)(f)).
Discovery/local search: using city/area — consent when optional (art. 6(1)(a)).
Analytics: only after explicit consent via CMP — consent (art. 6(1)(a)).

4. Minors

In Greece the service is intended for users 15+. If you are under 15, parental consent is required (currently not supported in the MVP).

5. Recipients / Processors

Cloud/Storage/CDN: Google — hosting/app files.
Email/Support: [provider] — notifications/support.
Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (consent-based only).

We sign DPAs with all processors and apply SCCs/TIAs where transfers outside the EEA occur.

6. International transfers

Where needed, we use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and conduct Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs).

7. Retention periods

Account/profile: until the account is deleted.
UGC: until the user deletes it.
Security logs: up to 12 months.
Moderation/reports: up to 36 months from the incident.
Consent logs: 24 months.

8. Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection.
If the legal basis is consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic DPA (www.dpa.gr).

9. Security

Password hashing (Argon2id), encryption in transit/at rest, least-privilege/RBAC, rate limiting, periodic backups.

10. Cookies & SDKs

Only strictly necessary items are enabled by default. Analytics/Marketing require opt-in via the banner/Cookie Settings. See our separate Cookie Policy.

11. Changes

We will update this policy and post a new date when changes occur.

AthloPro — Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using AthloPro, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

A social platform for amateur football players: create profiles, publish UGC, discover/connect.

3. Age Requirement

In Greece the service is intended for 15+. Accounts under 15 are only allowed with parental consent.

4. Accounts

Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

5. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of your content. You grant AthloPro a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it as needed to operate and promote the service (e.g., thumbnails, caching, service promotion).
You can delete your UGC at any time; backups/logs may retain copies for a reasonable period.

6. Prohibited Use

No illegal/offensive/hate content, harassment, threats, spam, privacy violations, or third-party rights violations (e.g., club logos without permission), and no dangerous/illegal activities.)

7. Reports & Moderation

We provide a reporting mechanism (temporarily via email: athloproapp@gmail.com) for illegal or policy-violating content.
If we remove/restrict content or accounts, you will receive a statement of reasons and have an appeal option.

8. Intellectual Property

AthloPro and its logo are our protected assets. Do not use them without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided “as is.” We are not liable for damages arising from inability to access or use the service. We do not broker contracts/transfers; we are not agents.

10. Termination

We may suspend/terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may request deletion at any time.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms. We will update the date and, where required, notify you.

12. Governing Law / Jurisdiction

Greek law applies. Courts of Athens have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
